Individual Pottery Instruction
If you are looking to hone your pottery skills or dive into ceramics for the first time, I am opening my studio up to individual instruction this fall.
I have 15 years of experience making pottery and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. My home studio includes a pottery wheel (kick-wheel with optional motor), mid-range electric kiln (plans for gas kiln, summer 2019), wedging table, slab roller, extruder, outdoor glaze spraying booth, and much more. I also mix my own glazes. My studio is located in The Barn, N. Foothills Hwy. Boulder CO, 80302.
Pricing
$250 for three 1.5hr sessions
All three sessions must be completed within one month of your first class date, ideally 5- 10 days apart.

What is included?
12lb of clay
A basic tool set
Access to my extensive collection of tools and equipment
4.5 total hours individually catered sessions
Bisque firing for 1-2 pieces
Glaze
Glaze firing for 1-2 pieces
1-2 finished pieces of your own handmade pottery
What to expect for your first class:
We will begin with a basic introduction to my studio space, and a general assessment of your level of experience and goals for the class. For beginners, I will start instruction with pinch pots and coil pots, intermediate students may want to learn about slab building and working with the extruder, while advanced students may want simple instruction with the bulk of their time left for practice throwing on the wheel.
Whatever your level of experience, I am looking forward to helping you reach your goals and experience the wonder of this age-old art form for yourself.
